Radio National's 'Into the Music' features the accompanist
If you didn’t hear the Radio National ‘Into the Music’ program on The Accompanist on March 24th it’s well worth a listen.
AGSA, the 2006 Festival of Accompanists and participants David Miller and Irina Lioubimova are included amongst such luminaries as Gerald Moore, Geoffrey Parsons & Iain Burnside (who did a MV tour with Yvonne Kenny last year & I think was probably the inspiration for Robyn Johnston’s doco.)
Hope you had a chance to hear it – I did tape it but lost the middle !! ( and who listens to tapes any more??)
