The Geoffrey Parsons Award for excellence in accompanying and ensemble playing is presented annually by the Guild in memory of the great international Accompanist, the Australian pianist, Geoffrey Parsons.

Conductor, Opera Repetiteur, Organist, Musical Director, and multi award winner, Anthony Hunt is the 21st recipient of the AGSA Geoffrey Parsons Award. In September 2007 he will commence study at the Royal Academy in London in the postgraduate Repetiteur course.

For his recital, Anthony will be joined by IMANTS LARSENS, violin and viola, and GEMMA PHILLIPS, cello, in a program that includes SCHUBERT Arpeggione Sonata and BRAHMS Piano Trio in B Major Opus 8.
