For five days in June 2018 pianists young and old, professionals and students, will create untold excitement on multiple pianos – from two to 32 – uprights, grands and even professional toy pianos in private teaching studios, schools and public performance spaces, culminating with a Celebrity Recital in Elder Hall performed by acclaimed pianists LISA MOORE and SONYA LIFSCHITZ. As one might expect a lot of sound and activity resulting is some inspirational music making for our: JEMs (Junior Ensemble Musicians) and their preparations for a class with percussionist, Jamie Adam, who generously provided some of the instruments needed for the JEM’s 12.10 Festival Concert in the Flinders Street Baptist Church on Wednesday September 17.   Due to circumstances beyond the Guild’s control this recital has been moved to Elder Hall  at 7.45 pm. We are extremely grateful to the Conservatorium for providing this wonderful alternative venue. Car parking is available in the University car park close to Elder Hall.
